Mollon Cosmetics - Swatches

Tal como prometido, cá estou eu com os swatches dos vernizes Mollon Cosmetics. Estes são da gama Bamboo Extract. Falando de todos no geral, são vernizes com uma capacidade de 12 ml, com pincel espatulado que torna a aplicação super fácil, secagem rápida e com 2 camadas a cor fica perfeita sendo todos estes bem pigmentados. Apesar de serem cores fortes, nenhum deles me manchou as cutículas nem ao aplicar nem ao retirar. Nas fotos todos estão com 2 camadas e sem top coat e como podem ver o brilho é bastante bom. Just like I promised, here I am with the Mollon Cosmetics polishes swacthes. These are from the Bamboo Extract collection Talking in general matters, these  bottles have a 0,40 Oz. capacity, a wonderful flat brush that makes the aplliance so much easier, quick drying and a good pigmentation that covers the nail with 2 coats. Even though these are strong colors, any of then spotted my cuticles. In the photos they are all with 2 coats and without top coat and as you can see its natural shine is very good. O Turquoise Azure - n.º 17 é o meu favorito. Tem um tom de azul turquesa com micro brilhos que puxa mais ao verde e que me faz lembrar muito o Sinful Colors Mint Apple, mas com a vantagem do Mollon se encontrar por cá, de ser mais barato e da qualidade ser muito melhor. Foi este que deixei nas unhas hoje!

Turquoise Azure - n.º 17 is my favorite of all 3. It has a turquoise blue shade with micro glitter on its formula that looks more green than blue and it reminds me of Sinful Colors Mint Apple. This was the one chosen to stay on my nails today!

Este é o Blue Symphony - n.º 19, um azul escuro tipo ganga mas que se nota bem que é azul, ou seja, não é confundido com preto. Adoro azuis e este sem duvida é daqueles que fica bem com tudo.

This is Blue Symphony - n.º 19, a dark blue jeans, that doesn't get confused with black. I love blue polishes and this one definitely fits with a lot of outfits.

Por fim o Rotten Green - n.º 18, um verde bem escuro algo metalizado e talvez por isso não me tenha agradado tanto em termos de cor, pois não sou muito fã de vernizes metalizados. De qualquer forma, como é bem escuro o efeito metalizado não se nota muito e acho que fica bem elegante nas unhas. É uma cor mais de Inverno enquanto que os outros 2 chamam pela Primavera e Verão.

At last Rotten Green - n.º 18 is a very dark green with a metallic touch and that's why it is not my favorite of all 3, because I'm not a fan of metalic polishes. Anyway, as it is really dark, the metallic effect doesn't show too much and I think it looks really elegant on the nails. It's more of a Winter color, while the other 2 call for Spring and Summer!

LA Girls Matte - Red

Vi esta ideia num grupo no facebook, e gostei. A ideia original foi executada com o China Glaze Designer Satin e com um glitter da Essence e eu pensei cá para mim que tinha na gavetinha dos vermelhos este LA Girls que deve ser primo direito do China Glaze. Também tinha o Confetti Kiss da H&M e consegui recriar a coisa pacificamente!

Relativamente ao vernizucho em questão é de aplicação super fácil (talvez o único vermelho que tenho que não o insulto constantemente durante a pintura unhal), seca rapidinho como fosco que é, e em 2 camadas está pronto para a guerra! Por cima de tudo apliquei o top coat mate da Essence visto que queria efeito fosco e o Confetti Kiss tem acabamento brilhante!

I saw this idea at a Facebook group and I liked it. The original one was made with China Glaze Designer Satin and with an Essence Glitter and I thought to myself that I had this red LA Girls that could do the same effect and I also had the H&M Confetti Kiss glitter pretty much alike to the Essence used.


About the La Girls polish, the appliance is super easy, nothing like all the other reds that I have, dries very quickly as it is matte and is ready with 2 coats. Above all I apllied Essence Matte Top Coat because the H&M Confetti Kiss is shinny and I wanted a matte finish.

Catrice - Marylin and me

Este post é especial para uma amiga que no sábado me disse que nunca me tinha visto de vermelho nas unhas! Pois, eu explico o porquê de não usar esta cor! Primeiro não é cor que goste muito de ver nas minhas mãos, e segundo, ao pintar desta vez lembrei-me da principal razão se não usar vermelho: é o diabo para pintar, suja os dedos todos e depois continua a ser o diabo para limpar os restos e a mão direita é missão completamente impossível!

Foi pintar, limpar as peles da mão esquerda, fotografar e dar-lhe forte na acetona! Cátia Maria, espero que aprecies o momento!!! :)

Usei de base o meu velhinho Colorama porque este Catrice é muito pouco pigmentado e só lá ía com umas 4 camada!

This is a special post for a friend that on Saturday told me that she has never seen me using red polish! Well, it's true and I can explain: it's not a color that I really like to see on my hands and when I was applying this one I remember another reason for not using this color as it gets the fingers all painted in red and it's so hard to clean all the excesses! Cleaning the right hand is mission impossible!


I just apllied the pulish, clean the excesses on the left hand, took the photo and took it all off right away!


I used an old Colorama polish as base because this Catrice doesn't have a good pigmentation.

Ados - 596 e Actuelle - Glitter Forte

Nunca vi esta marca Ados à venda noutro sítio a não ser numa loja de produtos para cabeleireiras aqui na zona. É uma marca polaca que a tal loja daqui comprou o direito de representação e custam 4 €. Podem ver a gama toda no site http://www.nuances-prod.com/.

São vernizes muito pigmentados que à 1a camada cobrem bem a unha (na foto estou a usar 2) pincel aceitável, secagem rápida e brilho bom. A duração é aí de uns 4/5 dias (pode ser mais, mas não me aguento tanto tempo sem trocar de cor) e a cor em questão, para mim que adoro corais, é linda!

I never saw this Ados brand selling anywhere but in a beauty shop nearby me. It's originally from Poland and it coasts 4 €. 


This brand has a very good pigmentation which covers the nail with just one coat (I'm using 2 coats in this photo). It lastes on the nails for up than 5 days, the brush is good, quick drying and good shine!

Cliché - Copacabana

Fiz as pazes com a Cliché! Apaixonei-me perdidamente por este canarinho lindo e fofo!

A aplicação não é a coisa mais fácil ao cimo da terra, mas é amarelo, e acho que ainda deve estar para ser inventado o amarelo que não seja o demónio para aplicar! São 3 camadas mas que secam rápido, e a cor é o que se pode ver! Linda! Chama pela primavera a plenos pulmões!

I'm in peace with Cliché! Just fell deeply in love with this cute birdie yellow!


The appliance is not the easiest thing in the world, but it's a yellow which I tend to believe to be the devil's color as it is so damn hard to apply! 3 quick drying coats for a beautiful, beautiful color! It calls out loud for Spring!

A organização da minha colecção! My collection's stash!

Cá estão eles todos! Guardo-os a todos num helmer que comprei no Ikea, no fundo das gavetas coloquei uma película anti derrapante que também é do Ikea e os separadores comprei no Lidl. Prometo que um dia destes ponho fotos cor por cor, mas não sei ainda bem como organizar a coisa de forma a aparecerem todos na imagem! Sei que andam nos 300 porque em Dezembro contei-os e estavam nos 260, mas nos entretantos a colecção aumentou e não sei quantos são ao certo nem me apeteceu contá-los!

Here they are! I keep them all inside a helmer which I bought at Ikea. On the bottom of the drawers I placed an anti-slip film bought at Ikea as well  and the white compartments I bought at a local store. I promise that one of these days I'll show all the 300 bottles organized by color. I just haven't figured out how to organize them to fit them in a photo!

Continuo virada para os azuis! Este é mais um das comprinhas de Sábado, tive azar que trazia o pincel meio defeituoso, mas nada que uma tesoura não resolvesse.

A cor é espectacular, fácil de aplicar pois o pincel é espatulado, e a única coisa que complica a aplicação é o facto que já tinha falado no anterior: o verniz é muito espesso (nem com óleo de banana melhora) e seca muito rápido, mesmo durante a aplicação. Mas no fim até não foi mal de todo e a cor que fica vale bem a pena!

Now I'm obsessing with blues! This one's from my Saturday's shopping and it had a defect on the brush which was solved with a scisor.


The color is awesome, easy to apply with its flat brush and the only flaw is the fact that I mentioned before of its too qwick drying. The color worth it!

Actuelle - 455

Há dias disseram-me que esta marca é a adaptação a Portugal da Hits Speciallita, mas tenho para mim que a única coisa que isto tem da Hits, é o frasco! Não que as cores sejam feias, pelo contrario, tem algumas cores engraçadas, mas a aplicação de todas (comprei 8 e todas sofrem do mesmo mal) não é de todo fácil! Está uma pessoa de pincel em punho a trinchar as unhas e o verniz a meio da aplicação já está meio seco (e pus oleo de banana em todos para tentar melhorar) e a coisa fica assim a modos que uma porcaria. De qualquer forma, nada que o milagroso top coat da Essence não resolva!

Falando deste em concerto, a cor é linda, impregnada de uns brilhantes em azul mais claro, seca rápido (até demais como já disse) e tem pincelito espatulado que dá muito jeito! 2 € nas lojas RR Center. Não esta mau, mas a qualidade podia ser melhor!

Some days ago, I wald told that this brand is the Portuguese adaptation for the Brazilian brand Hits, but I think that the only thins that this have from Hits is the bottle! Don't get me wrong, the colors are truly beautiful, but their appliance is not easy (I bought 8 of them and all have the same problem). The problem is that the polish is very thick and dries even before I could end the appliance, and it doesn't look good in the end. But anyway, the miraculous Essence top coat gets it looking really good!


Talking about this one in particular, the color is really beautiful, full of a brighter blue glitter, quick dry (too much as I said so) and I love its flat brush. 2 € at RR Center shop. Not bad at all, but the quality could be better as I said before.

Essence Vampire's Love - The dawn is Broken

Este Essence faz parte da edição limitada Vampire's Love, e tal como o Into The Dark, tem uma aplicação espectacular que com uma camada já cobriu bem a unha, seca rápido, e tem um pormenor excelente que é um glitter, que nem se pode chamar de glitter porque não tem brilho, é uma espécie de um pó azul escuro lindíssimo e que lhe dá um toque de originalidade espectacular!

Adoro-o!

This Essence is part of the Vampire's Love limited edition, and just like Into The Dark, it's easy to apply, one coat covers the nail, quick dry and has a wonderfeul detail: some kind of a dark blue powder on its formula that makes it so original!

China Glaze - Ingrid

Um castanho jeitoso daqueles que dá com tudo, brilho bom, pigmentação boa também, adoro o pormenor dos brilhos dourados bem discretos! Só a secagem não é grande espingarda, mas o top coat resolve tudo! Não é a minha cor favorita, mas come-se!

O crackle é o Color Club - Tattered in Gold.

A cute brown that goes with everything. Good shine, good pigmentation and I just love the golden glitter detail! The drying is not so good, but with a top coat it gets ok! It's not my favourite color of all time, but it's ok!

Cliché - Cancun

Não sei bem por onde começar... se calhar pelo principio, que é a minha embirrancia com a Cliché. O único verniz que tenho desta marca que não precisa de pelo menos 3 camadas é o Gótico e mesmo assim, sabe Deus...

Gosto da cor do Cancun, mais que não fosse pelo nome dele que é completamente fiel à cor e a realidade das aguas do México! Mas para ficar perfeitíssimo precisou de 4 camadas! 4 generosas camadas, minha gente, uma pessoa fica ali com uma grossura de unha que mete medo (depois aquele pincel não é amigo de facilitar a aplicação de 4 camadas). até tenho medo de experimentar o Copacabana, porque se foi esta luta com um azul, o que fará com um amarelo que parece que é a cor do diabo e dá sempre uma luta do catano para passar...

Mas apaixonei-me pela cor, isso sem duvida alguma!!

I just don't know where to begin with... maybe with the begining since I have a bad relationship with Cliché polishes. The only one from this brand that doesn't need 3 coats is the Gotico one, and even so...

Well, I like the color, truly faithful tho Mexican water's color, but to get it perfect, it took 4 coats, 4 thick coats people, and the brush doesn't make it easier! Now I'm just scared to try Copacabana, because if I had this struggle with a simple turquoise, what could happen with a yellow wich seems to be the devil's color when it come to its appliance!

Misa - Got it made in the shade

Gostei desta cor assim que lhe botei as vistinhas em cima! Inicialmente tinha escolhido o irmão mais caro dele, mas depois de muito pesquisar por essa net fora descobri que este era o dupe perfeito do OPI - On Stanger tides (podem ver aqui), e assim lá me decidi a mandar vir este a quase metade do preço! Vale cada cêntimo de dólar! Adoro a cor e está lá bem em cima na lista de favoritos! É elegante e ao mesmo tempo diferente!

2 camadas, secagem rápida, cor como se vê e o top coat só é necessário por vicio, pois ele brilha sem ajuda do publico!

I just fell in love with this color at first sight! Initially I chose it's more expensive brother, but after some research I found out this to be the perfect dupe for OPI - On stanger tides (you can see it here), and so I decided to order this one for half of the OPI's price. It's worth every single dolar cent! I love the color and it's  really high rated on my favourite list! It's elegant and different at the same time!


2 Coats, quick dry, the color is wonderful as you can see and it doesn't need top coat as it shines for itself!

2 Já cá cantam! I just got 2!!

Mas está-me cá a querer parecer que a minha má relação com os Cliché é coisa para continuar, porque experimentei o Cancun numa unha e a coisa não correu nada bem, nem com 3 camadas lá foi. Logo vamos experimentar a coisa como deve de ser, mas não me cheira...

But it seems to me that my bad relationship with Cliché polishes is going to last, because I tried Cancun in one nail and it didn't look good with 3 coats! Later I will try it for good, but, hum... I don't think so...

OPI - Are we there yet

Ora bem... Desde que encomendei esta preciosidade, até ela me chegar às mãos, não podia em mim de ansiedade... Mas o bichinho chegou, experimentei-o numa unha, não lhe dei hipótese de mostrar o que valia e apelidei-o logo de blhé... Mas como OPI é OPI, resolvi dar-lhe uma merecida 2a oportunidade... E dei, mas continuei assim que meia sem saber se gostava ou não... Mas como se diz que à 3a é de vez, pois que temos finalmente paixão assumida! Há os amores à 1a vista, e há os que demoram a conquistar! Este faz assumidamente parte da 2a categoria! Mas é amor para durar!

Só lhe ponho um defeito: são precisas 3 camadas! Mas... Quercasaber!!! É lindo!!!

Well, ever since I bought this precious, I just couldn't wait to try it! But when it arrived, I tried it in one nail, didn't liked the color very much and throw it to the drawer. Some weeks later I gave it a 2nd chance, but found myself wondering if I liked it or not... Oh well... Girls! But OPI is OPI and I gave it a 3rd change! And now we have a passion here and it's a lasting love!


It just has one flaw: 3 coats! But it's worth it! It's Beautiful!

Catrice - Jade is not my name

Nota-se muito que ando vidrada em verdes? Ok, este esta entre o verde e o azul, foi a desculpa que dei a mim mesma, só pra não dizer que ia por outro verde!

Como todos os Catrice, o pincel é excelente, a pigmentação é boa e a secagem rápida. Vamos a ver é se a duração nas unhas é melhor que o anterior... Dou notícias!

Does it shows that I am obsessing with greens? Ok, this one is in between green and blue, and this was the excuse that I gave to myself just to use it!


As all Catrice polishes, the brush is excelent, good pigmentation and quick dry. Let's see if the duration of this one is better that the one I used before!
