OPI - Ski Teal we Drop / Essence - Night in Vegas

Esta combinação foi uma tentativa de fazer o mesmo efeito do Deborah Lippman Ray of Light, mas o tom de azul que escolhi não foi o melhor. Este tem um tom mais petróleo e o tom do Ray of Light é mais marinho. De qualquer forma gostei do resultado! Foram 2 camadas do Ski Teal We Drop super fáceis de aplicar e de secagem rápida e uma camada do Night in Vegas.

This combination was a try to duplicate Deborah Lippman Ray of Light effect, the blue shade that I chose wasn't the best. This one is more of a teal and Ray of Light is more of a navy blue. Anyway I liked the result. 2 coats of Ski Teal We Drop, super easy to apply and quick driyng, and 1 coat of Night in Vegas!

Claire's - Candy Shop

Finalmente consegui ter na minha colecção o tão desejado Candyshop, irmão pobre do Deborah Lippmann com o mesmo nome. Consegui-o graças a uma troca com uma menina americana, que para além desta maravilha, me mandou ainda outras belezas que quem me segue nos grupos do FB já teve oportunidade de ver.

Usei um rosa cremoso com o tom exacto como base para não ter de dar muitas camadas com o Candyshop, pois ele tem uma base jelly que não cobre bem a unha às primeiras camadas! O que dizer dele? Pois que é diferente daquilo a que estou habituada nas unhas, é uma explosão de cores o que para mim é um pouco estranho, mas amanhã já me habituei! Usei 1 camada de base rosa e 2 camadas do Candyshop que seca bastante rápido! Gostei bastante, só ainda não consigo dizer ADORO porque ainda não me habituei, mas eu chego lá!

Finally I got the so much desired Candyshop on my collection, poor brother from the one with the same name from Deborah Lippmann! I got it thanks to a swap with an american girl, that besides this beauty, send me some more wonderful babes!


I used a cream pink with the exact shade from Candyshop as base coat, because it has a jelly base that doesn't cover the nail within the first coats! What to say about it? Well, it's a little different from what I'm used to wear, it's a color blast which for me it's a little bit odd, but I'll get used to it by tomorrow, I'm sure! I used 1 coat of the cream pink and 2 coats of the Candyshop, which dries pretty quickly! I like it, I just cant's say I LOVE IT because I didn't get used to it, but I'll get there!

Layla - Flashblack

Este é o 1.º holográfico à séria que uso! Já tinha experimentado o Revvvolution da Color Club, mas apesar de ser bonito não é lá muito holográfico. Este é perfeito. Mesmo dentro de casa se nota o efeito, mas tive que ir para a rua para o fotografar em pleno! Vejam esta perfeição! Dei-lhe 3 camadas usando como base o Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer da Essence, tal como a Marta do Esmalterapia recomendou aqui. Sinceramente preferia que ele fosse mais preto, porque ele é antracite e não preto como diz o nome mas é lindo na mesma!!

This is the first real holographic that I wear! I've already tried Color Club Revvvolution, but even though it is beautiful it isn't much of a holographic! This one's perfect! Even indoors you can show its holographic effect, but I took the photos outside to get it as it really is! Just see this perfection! I applied 3 coats Better That Gel Nails Top Sealer from Essence as base coat. Honestly I prefered it would be a little more black as it is anthracite and not black as the name says but it is beautiful anyway!

Zoya - Skylar

O 2.º Zoya a ser estreado! Mais uma cor maravilhosa e super original, um azul jeans impregnado de micro glitter que me chegam a parecer flocos em tom prata, muito fácil de aplicar, nem é necessário limpar cuticulas, seca rapido e cobre com 2 camadas! Perfeito!!

This the 2nd Zoya to be tested! Another wonderful and super original color, a jeans blue infused with silver micro glitter that really look like flakes, very easy to apply and it doesn't even need to clean cuticles, dries very quickly and covers the nails with 2 coats! Perfect!

Zoya - Lotus

Este é o primeiro Zoya que experimento e tenho a dizer que o adorei! Tem uma cor linda e fora do vulgar, um roxo acinzentado impregnado de micro glitter num roxo mais claro, quase a fugir para o fuchsia, cobre a unha com 2 camadas, aplica-se facilmente e seca rápido. Comprei no site http://www.nailetc.com/ e com portes e tudo ficou-me cada um por 6,75 €. Apaixonei-me pela marca!

This is the first Zoya that I use and I must say that I loved it! It has a wonderful and unusual color, a purple with a little bit of grey in it, infused with almost fuchsia micro glitter. Covers the nail with 2 coats, easy application and dries quickly! I bought it at the site http://www.nailetc.com/ and with shiping each one costed 6,75 €. I'm in love with the brand!

Kiko - 387 Turquoise

Uma das cores mais bonitas que tenho na minha colecção! Nem é azul, nem é verde e lá estou eu apaixonada por uma cor indefinida! Tem um tom maravilhoso, brilhante, é super bem pigmentado que com 2 camadas fica perfeito e é muito fácil de aplicar graças ao pincel espatulado!

One of the most beautiful colors that I have in my collection! It's not blue and not green, and here I am in love again for an undefined color! It has a wonderful shade, it's glossy, well pigmented that gets perfect with 2 coats and it's very easy to apply thanks to the flat brush!

Revlon - Facets of Fuchsia / China Glaze - Flying Dragon

Eu sei, eu sei que ainda há pouco tempo o usei e fiz post sobre ele, mas eu gosto tanto, mas tanto dele e ando tão virada ultimamente para cores escuras que não resisti a repeti-lo! No anelar usei o China Glaze Flying Dragon que tem o mesmo tom dos glitters do Factes of Fuchsia e o glitter preto que coloquei é da Gio, para dar uma sensação de oposto do que pintei nas outras unhas! I know, I know that I used this one recently, but I love it sooooo much and I've been on a dark colors mood lately, that I had to repeat it! On the ring fnger I used China Glaze Flying Dragon that has the same shade as Facets of Fuhchsia glitters and the black glitter es from Gio to create a reverse sensation from the other nails. Cliché - Hollyhood

Não sei se a gralha no nome do bicho é propositada ou não, mas senhores, escreve-se "Hollywood" e não "Hollyhood".

De qualquer forma adorei-o! 2 camadas, secagem rápida e uma cor brutal! Fundo preto carregadinho de glitter azul escuro. Coloquei-lhe top coat mate porque quis dar-lhe um ar diferente!

I don't know if the mispelling in the name was deliberate or not, but whatever, people, it is spelled "Hollywood" and not "Hollyhood"!


Anyway, I loved it! 2 coats, quick drying and an awesome color! Black base infused with navy blue micro glitter. I used a matte top coat to give it a different effect!

Galaxy Nails

Mais uma aventura em unhas diferentes! Já andava a namorar este design há uns tempos mas nunca tinha ganho coragem para meter mãos à obra. Hoje vi este tutorial da MissJenFabulous, achei fácil e decidi tentar! E até que foi fácil sim senhora!

De base usei o preto da Essence Multi Dimension Fatal, e as cores que usei foram: o azul o Actuelle 456, o cinza azulado o Essence Cristalliced Ice Eyes Baby, e o rosa o Dote Frapé de Uva. O glitter foi o China Glaze Shooting Star. No tutorial ela usa 2 glitters, um mais fino e outro com círculos maiores mas como eu tinha este que era 2 em 1, decidi usar só um para não tornar a coisa chamativa demais. De resto, vejam o video e experimentem que vale a pena. É fácil e fica um efeito muito, muito giro!

Here's another adventure trying to create different nails! I was admiring this kind of design for a long time, but I never got the guts to do it because I thought it was very hard. Today I saw this tutorial from MissJenFabulous, thought it looked easy and it really was!


As black base coat I used Essence Multi Dimension Fatal, and the colors are: blue Actuelle 456, blueish grey Essence Cristalliced Ice Eyes Baby and pink Dote Frapé de Uva. The glitter is China Glaze Shooting Star. In the tutorial she uses 2 types of glitter, a thinner one and one with larger circles, but as I have this one, it's all in one! Just watch the video and try it because it is worth it! It's easy and has a very cool effect!

Cora - Polaris

Este foi um dos vernizuchos que vieram naquela troca fantásticavinda do Brasil, e este nem sequer o escolhi, foi escolha acertadíssima da querida Roberta. É maravilhoso!! Um tom de azul bem petróleo como eu gosto, cheio de glitter holográfico! Fica bem em 2 camadas e seca bem rápido, mas precisa de 2 camadinhas de top coat para não se sentir rugoso. Mas posso esperar por experimentar o irmão rosa dele, que também veio no pacote maravilha!

This was one of the polishes that I received from Brasil, and this one was chosen by my dear Roberta. It’s wonderful! A perfect teal tone full of holographic glitter. Gets perfect with 2 coats and dries pretty quickly, mas it takes 2 coats of top coat because it is a little bit lumpy. I can't wait to wear its pink brother that also came in the package!

China Glaze - Cosmic

Perfeito em tantos sentidos que nem sei bem por onde começar. Primeiro adoro preto, depois adoro um preto que seja fácil de aplicar e este é, perfeito com 2 camadas, e por fim adoro glitter e este ainda por cima tem um glitter holográfico maravilhoso!! O único defeito dele é que é extremamente rugoso, pelo que necessitou de 3!!! camadas de top coat, mas é mesmo o único defeito!

Perfect in so many ways, that's hard for me to start this review... To start with, I love black, and then I love a black that is easy to apply and this one is, perfect in 2 coats, and at last I love glitter and this one has a wonderful holographic glitter! Its only flaw is that it is lumpy so it took 3!!! coats of Top Coat, but it's its only flaw!

Impala - Sereia / LA Girls - Glitter Addict Nostalgic

Ainda não tive coragem de tirar das unhas o Essence Blue Addicted (tanto pela cor que adoro como pelo pesadelo que vai ser remover este glitter mesmo com a técnica da prata) e aproveito para mostrar uma combinação que experimentei no outro dia e que pretendo repetir muito em breve. Adoro a cor do Sereia, um turquesa vibrante e cheio de alegria, e o glitter tem o tom exactamente igual ao do sereia e combina na perfeição.

Tenho alguma embirrancia com os vernizes da Impala por um motivo: eu tenho a parte branca da unha muito acentuada e 2 ou 3 camadas de vernizes menos pigmentados não me cobrem a unha. Deste tive que usar 4 camadas, mas acaba por ser tranquilo porque seca rápido e as camadas ficam finas. Mas as cores da Impala compensam toda a trabalheira que me dão a aplicar :)

I haven't had courage to remove Essence Blue Addicted from my nails yet (because I love the color and because it will be a nightmare to remove all this glitter even with the foil technic) and so I take this opportunity to show you a combi that I've done some days ago and that I intend to repeat very soon! I love Sereia's color, a vibrant and joyful turquoise, and the glitter has the exact tone, and it's a perfect matchup!

I'm kinda bothered with Impala's polishes because my natural nail white tip is very accentuated, and all the less pigmented polishes don't cover my nails with 2 or 3 coats. This one took me 4 coats, but it ends up well because it dries quickly and the coats are thin. But Impala's colors worth all the hard work! They are so beautiful!

Essence - Blue Addicted

Mais um irmão pobre da Deborah Lippmann, mas que é perfeitamente igual! Desta vez é o dupe do Across the Universe. Adoro o efeito! Usei o Actuelle 456 como base, mas qualquer azul escuro serve e apenas o faço para não gastar tanto deste que tem um frasco pequenino. Este com 3 camadas não necessitava de base nenhuma. 

A cor é maravilhosa e a quantidade de glitter é excelente. Dá uma sensação de profundidade à pintura e apenas usei 2 camadas! Como glitter que é, torna-se algo rugoso e por necessita de top coat. A aplicação é fácil e a distribuição de glitter pela unha não dá trabalho nenhum. Adoro!

Here's another Deborah Lippman's poor brother, but that looks exactlty the same. This time is Acrosss The Universe dupe. I love the effect. I wore Actuelle 456 as base coat, but any dark blue will do it and I just did it because these Essence Colour & Go have a very small bottle and I want to save it. This one with 3 coats wouldn't need a base coat at all.

The color is wonderful and the amount of glitter is excellent. It gives the mani a wonderful sense of depth and I got it with only 2 coats. As it is a glitter it needs a top coat because of its roughness. The application and glitter distribution are very easy. I love it!

China Glaze - High Hopes

A perfeição existe e o amor à 1ª vista também! Tudo concentrado neste bebé! Sério, não pensei que fosse possivel escolher de uma colecção de cerca de 400 vernizes um favorito. Mas é possivel. Posso dizer com toda a convicção que este é O meu favorito! É perfeito!

A aplicação é fácil, não suja muito as cutículas e no final o que resta limpa-se muito facilmente, 2 camadas chegam para cobrir a unha, eu dei 3 porque ele é tão perfeito que esta foto tinha que ficar perfeita também, e seca bastante rápido mesmo com as 3 camadas. O brilho é tão lindo que nem necessitava de top coat! A cor... a cor é muito difícil de descrever. É o coral mais perfeito que conheço e que muda de tom consoante a luz! Já tinha dito que é o meu favorito?

Perfection exists and love at 1st sight too! All in this babe! Seriously, I never thought that could be possible to choose one favorite polish among all the 400 that I have. But it is possible. I can say with all my conviction that this one is THE favourite! It's perfect!


Application is easy, it doesn't make a big mess in the cuticles and what's left is easily cleaned. 2 coats are enough to cover the nail, but this one is so perfect that I applied 3 because I wanted this photo to be perfect as well. The shine is so good that it doesn't even need top coat! And the color is soooo hard to describe... It's the most perfect coral that I know of and it changes shades depending on the light. Have I already mentioned that it is perfect?

Hits - Anja / Impala - Na mira 3D

Como hoje (e os próximos dias) foi dedicado a testar os vernizuchos novos, não sabia para onde me virar, mas tive uma epifânia e decidi-me pelo 1.ª que escolhi e que já fazia parte da minha wishlist há mais de um ano! O Hits Anja! É simplesmente perfeito! 1 camada, sim uma camada apenas cobre espectacularmente bem a unha, seca hiper rápido e a cor, por Deus, a cor... não consigo arranjar palavras para exprimir a minha paixão por ele. Está impregnado de uns micro brilhos num tom azulado que o torna muito muito original!

O Impala é também lindissimo! Um glitter holográfico sob um fundo preto, mas tive que colocar um preto de base pois ele não é muito pigmentado.

As today was dedicated to try all my new babes who just arrived from Brasil, I wasn't able to choose one to put on the nails. But I had an epiphany and decided for the one that I had on my wishlist since forever! It's Hits Anja and it's soooooo perfect. 1 coat, yes, just 1 coat covered the nail, dries super quickly and the color, for God sake, the color... I can't find words to express my passion for it! It's infused with a blueish shimmer that makes it so original!

The Impala is awsome too! A holographic glitter on a black base, but I had to wear a black base coat as it is not very good pigmented.

Fiz uma troca com a Roberta Fernandes do Mais que um blog de beleza e hoje quando me chegou o correio às mão tive uma sincope cardiaca!  Abri o pacotinho lindo e eis que me deparo com o que aparece nas imagens seguintes! Sinful Colors - Mint Apple / Color Club - Tattered in Gold

Hoje faltou-me inspiração e jeito e tudo o que tentei correu mal. Então fui desenterrar ao fundo do helmer o meu Sinful preferido da minha colecção. Estes Sinful para mim têm um defeito: demoram a secar, mas como uso top coat para mim não é problema! Gosto muito da cor, um turquesa mais para o verse impregnado de shimmer que o torna muito original!

Today I had an inspirational blank and all that I tried went wrong. So I went to the bottom of my helmer to get my favorite Sinful from my collection. This brand for me has a fault: takes forever to dry, but as I always wear top coat, it turns out just fine. I really like this color, a greenwish turquoise, infused with shimmer that makes it so original!

Catrice - Pimp My Shrimp / China Glaze - Shooting Star

Depois de uma ideia dada pela Vanessa do Jokinhas e Docinhos, resolvi aventurar-me a fazer algo diferente nas unhas! E não é que foi super fácil e adorei o resultado?

After an idea that Vanessa from the blog Jokinhas e Docinhos gave me, I decided to try something different on my nails! And it was super easy and I loved the result!

Catrice - Genius in a Bottle

Ora cá está o irmão mais barato do Chanel Peridot. Pelas imagens que venho na net é igualzinho, a não ser custar menos uns 20 €, coisa pouca! Pinta-se super fácil, adoro estes novos pinceis da Catrice que não deixam o verniz tocar nas cutículas e que nem precisa de limpeza no final. Seca rapidinho também e 2 camadinhas chegam para cobrir bem a unha.

Estou com algumas duvidas em relação a gostar ou não da cor, mas pode ser que me habitue! O que mais gosto nele são as variações de cor consoante a luz e o movimento da mão, estou sempre a olhar para as unhas!

Well here is Chanel Peridot cheapest brother! Judging by the images that I saw on the web, it is just the same, except for the price, something like 20 € less! Super easy to apply, I really love this new Catrice's brushes that don't allow the polish to touch the cuticles and there's no need to clean in the end! Dries very quaickly and 2 coats are enough to cover the nails!

I have some doubts about liking or not the color, but maybe I'll get used to it! What I like about it the most is the constant shades change, depending on the light and movement. I'm always starring at my nails!

Essie - Olé Caliente

É uma paixão. Uma grande paixão que tenho por esta cor. Dêem-me cores que eu não consigo definir e sou feliz! Esta é das tais que se perguntarem a um gajo diz logo que é vermelho e pronto, mas não, não é! Não é vermelho, nem laranja, nem coral, nem rosa. É uma cor indefinida e que me apaixonou!

Deu trabalho, suja um bocado os dedos e precisou de 3 camadas, mas tem uma cor e um brilho que compensam tudo e mais alguma coisa! E seca rápido que também compensa as 3 camadas, e é coisa para durar uma semana, embora eu não lhe dê esse tempo todo de antena :)

It's passion. A big, big passion that I have for this color! Give me colors that I can't define and I'm happy! This is one of those that if you ask a guy what color is it, he'll say red and that's all, but it's not! It's not red, or orange, or coral, not even pink. It's an indefinite color and I love it!


It gave me hard work to apply. It makes kind of a mess around the fingers and needed 3 coats to cover the nails, but its color and shine makes it all worth it! And dries quickly and it is something to last a week or so, even though I never wear a polish that long! 

Mollon - Blue Jeans

Dada a quantidade de vernizes que tenho sempre na fila para experimentar, é raro usar um 2 vezes. Quando o faço é porque gosto mesmo, mesmo dele, e é o caso deste! Given the amount of new polishes that I always have to try, it's not easy for me to wear the same one 2 times. Ok, já andava a pensar nisto há imensooooo tempo mas fiz algumas experiências que deram em fracasso e tinha desistido da ideia! Mas com a ajuda da Anita do blogue Só Mais Um Verniz, retomei a ideia e foi assim que saiu a minha primeira tentativa no mundo dos vernizes artesanais! Eu gostei :) e vocês?

Ok, so I've been thinking about this for a loooong time, but after some failures I gave up the idea. But with a little help from Anita from the blog Só Mais Um Verniz, I got the idea back and this was how I came up with my very first atempt in the hand crafted polishes! Color Club - Revvvolution

Da primeira vez que usei este bebé fiquei desiludida! Quer dizer... Tinha uns brilhos diferentes e tal, mas holografia à seria nem vê-la! Resolvi dar-lhe uma segunda hipótese depois de ler este post da Marta, Rainha das Gosmas, e não é que ela tinha razão? Usei o Top Coat Better Than Gel Nails como base, e uma camada depois do Revvvolution, a holografia à seria deu-se! Resulta mesmo e já não estou desiludida com ele! A foto não consegue captar a verdadeira essência dele, mas ela esta lá!

The first time that I used this baby I was disappointed! I mean... it had some different sparkles but that was all! It couldn't be called a real holographic. But I decided to give it a second chance after reading this post from Marta, in which she used Essence's Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer as bAse coat for a holographic polish. And it worked for me too and now I'm not disappointed at it! The photo just can't get its true holographic essence, but it is there, believe me!

Um Flormar lindo que o meu boy me ofereceu! Fácil de aplicar, seca rápido e brilha muito! 2 camadas e cobre bem a unha! Adoro!

Flormar - P004 / Essence - Circus Confetti

É a 1.ª vez que uso esta marca, Flormar e estou maravilhada! Super fácil de passar nas unhas, seca muito rápido e pelo menos a cor deste é fabulosa. Um coral perfeito impregnado de micro glitter dourado imperceptivel na foto! Adorei!

It's the first time that I use this brand, Flormar and I'm marveled! Super easy to apply, no cleaning needed, dries super quickly and at least this one's color is fabulous! A perfect coral, infused with golden micro glitter, that can't be noticed in the photo! I loved it!

Essence - Frosted Champaign / Essence - Make it Golden

Mais um parente pobre mas muito fiel da tia Deborah Lippmann! Desta vez é do Boom Boom Pow! Dupe completamente perfeito este Make it Golden!

O Frosted Champaign é um tom marfim cheio de micro glitter dourado. 3 camadas para ficar bem uniforme, mas valeu a pena! Eu que não sou fã de brancos e afins, adorei este! E acho que combinou na perfeição com o Make it Golden!

So, here's another poor relative from aunt Deborah Lippmann! This time from Boom Boom Pow! This Essence Make it Golden is the perfect dupe!


Frosted Champaign is an ivory tone infused with golden micro glitter. 3 coats to cover the nais, but it was worth it. I'm not a fan of whites and nudes and whatever, but I loved this one! And they worked perfectly toghether!

Depois de ter juntado 13 novos vernizes à colecção graças à Expocosmética, não foi fácil escolher um para por na unhas! Arranjei maneira de usar 3 ao mesmo tempo, pois no anelar, por baixo do Shooting Star tenho o Verde Mais Doce da Inocos :)

Já ansiava por este Misa há algum tempo, estava esgotado na Transdesign e já estava para optar pelo Essie School of Hard Rocks que é um tom muito similar. Mas a espera valeu a pena e fui encontra-lo mais perto do que imaginava e é lindo! Uma camada cobre perfeitamente a unha, seca super rápido e tem uma cor fantástica!

After adding 13 new polishes to the stash thanks to Expocosmética, it wasn't easy to choose one to wear today! I managed to wear 3 at the same time, because on the ring finger, under the Shooting Star, I applied Inocos' Verde Mais Doce!


I was longing for this Misa for a while, it was out of stock on Transdesign and I was almost chosing Essie School of Hard Rocks instead because it's a very similar tone. But it wast worth the wait and I found it here really nearby and it is gorgeous! 1 Coat covers the nail, dries super quickly and has a tremendous color!
